COHORT: BUSINESS RHYTHMS
Build operating rhythms that work for the messy, unpredictable, deeply human reality of running a solo business.
A 12-WEEK OPERATIONS COHORT TO HELP SERVICE-BASED BUSINESSES BUILD RELIABLE SYSTEMS FOR running a sustainable business.
Starts January 13th, 2026!
Enrollment is capped at 20 students.
That’s the phrase rising from your subconscious while you scramble to deliver client work, attempt random acts of marketing, tackle your ever-growing project list, fine-tune Frankenstein processes, track finances, plan strategically (whatever that means), and keep your sanity.
“I just need to be more consistent.”
You think you know what you “should” be doing, but…
Client work consumes you.
Context-switching exhausts you.
And everything is half-finished because something always derails your newsletter launch/onboarding project/new workshop delivery/[insert to-do backlog here].
the underlying challenge?
It’s not a discipline problem. It’s a capacity mismatch.
There’s no shame—as a soloist, or a founder with a micro team, there will always be more to do than you have time, energy, and capacity for.
But, instead of getting the right tasks on your list—the ones that actually matter—you're stuck in a cycle of:
Starting projects but never finishing them
Bouncing between tasks without ever getting into a flow
Monday morning intentions that evaporate the second a client emails
Never having time for projects that would move your business forward
Working on whatever feels most urgent instead of what actually matters
Constantly feeling behind, scattered, and like you should be doing more
Cursing overcomplicated tools and automations that create more work, not less
Working your butt off every week, but looking at your revenue, thinking…"That's it?"
Falling into the perfect planning fallacy and feeling like a failure when it all falls apart
The answer is not to do more.
You need to do aligned actions with more intention.
Remember:
Most productivity advice wasn’t made for you.
It was made for someone with one job. Not five.
It wasn’t designed for solo service providers juggling client delivery, business development, and keeping the lights on—all at the same time, all by yourself. It was intended for people with large teams, predictable schedules, and the luxury of focusing on one thing at a time.
(Not to mention taking care of families, accommodating flexible working styles and different brains, and operating in the midst of… gestures wildly… our current societal climate).
What if your business had an operating rhythm—one that didn’t rely on constant willpower, perfect planning, or pretending you have more hours in the day than you actually do?
Instead of:
❌ Staring at a to-do list that's 90% inbox reactions.
❌ Systems so rigid they break the second something unexpected happens, or so "optimized" there's no room to explore a new idea.
❌ Bouncing between client work, admin, half-finished marketing projects, and that system you swore you'd build three months ago.
❌ Working full-time hours for part-time money because you're constantly doing misaligned tasks.
❌ Trying to squeeze 50 blocks of work into a capacity of 30 hours and feeling like a failure when you can’t get it all done.
❌ "I should be doing marketing" guilt while you're heads-down in client work.
❌ Operations work you avoid because it feels tedious and impossible to maintain.
❌ Another hot mess of a year, working yourself into the ground for underwhelming results.
What if you could experience:
✅ Monday mornings where you know what you're working on (and why!)
✅ Built-in margin for rest, surprises, and creative detours.
✅ A rhythm that decides for you what deserves your attention.
✅ Systems that stick—and fewer expensive tools you never use— because they fit your reality.
✅ Confidence that your working hours are spent on the right things.
✅ Permission to choose what stays and what goes without battling your ego.
✅ Room for both client delivery and business growth in the same week.
✅ Operational tasks that feel grounding because they're rhythms on your calendar designed to be doable.
✅ A year where your business works with and can adjust to your capacity instead of against it.
INTRODUCING

BASED ON THE EXPERIENCE OF HUNDREDS OF MEMBERS, CLIENTS, AND YOUR SURVEY RESPONSES.
Hi, I’m Jessica—There is no secret. It’s systems.
This program is based on my work with 100+ members in Deeper Foundations, 80+ cohort participants and clients, and 61 survey responses and interviews I conducted to understand the operational reality solo service providers face every day.
It's designed for the specific reality of people who get paid for their expertise, deliver custom work to clients, and need operations that support that model. I've developed an approach to operations that honors both the science of capacity management and the art of human sustainability.
I have an MBA from Harvard, where I learned how operations should work in theory, and then I spent years at Nike leading teams and running projects, where I learned how operations work in practice. I was a coach at Lifehack Method (a productivity program), where I helped hundreds of people implement systems that stuck.
When I started my own business, all that corporate training went out the window. The frameworks that worked when I had a team, a budget, and a clear organizational structure were completely useless when I was the team, the budget was tight, and the structure was whatever I made up that morning.
I had to unlearn corporate operations (and debunk the online business B.S.) to rebuild from scratch for the reality of solo service providers. That's what I teach in Business Rhythms.
The ROI isn’t just about money—it’s also about staying in business and liking it.
Here’s what happens when your business operates on rhythms instead of chaos.
Reclaim the mental space you didn’t know you’d lost to decision-fatigue.
Enjoy Monday mornings not spent staring into the abyss...or your inbox.
Rest when you need to because a non-negotiable margin is built into your container.
Luxuriate in knowing what "enough" looks like for your business stage and capacity.
“But I’ve tried operations/productivity/ systems programs before and couldn't stick with them.”
Business Rhythms starts with reality, not perfection.
🌱 We start with what you have capacity for right now, not what you wish you had capacity for.
🌱 We teach operations designed for solo businesses where you’re wearing all the hats.
🌱 We give you prescribed frameworks and checklists. Less decision-making, more doing.
🌱 We don't push complex tech stacks that take longer to maintain than the time they save.
🌱 We build simple, sustainable systems first. Sophistication comes later.
🌱 We acknowledge that consistency is hard and build accountability into the program structure.
🌱 We implement while we learn. Every week. Together. You’re never doing this alone.
Business Rhythms is a implementation-forward, structure-building program.
This offer is right for you if:
You've been in business for 1+ years, know the basics, but haven't yet built sustainable operations.
You're making under $250K and working 20-40 hours a week.
You run a 1:1 service-based business (consulting, done-for-you services, expert-led work).
You're solo or have 1-2 contractors, but you're still the one managing everything.
You're tired of starting systems you can't maintain.
You're ready to prioritize operations as a Q1 2026 focus project.
You can commit to attending 12 weeks of live calls (or watching recordings within a few days).
You're willing to do operational work you find tedious because you know it matters, even if it's not a party.
You want honest, personal feedback from Jessica on what to prune and to prioritize in your business.
This offer is not right for you if:
You’re brand new to business or haven’t worked with clients yet.
You're making over $250K and need more sophisticated systems than we’re teaching here. (You need a COO or a 1:1 consultant, not a cohort program.)
You’re in pure survival mode right now and can't commit any time to implementation (I get it, but this isn't the right moment for you.)
You completely resist structure and want a program that lets you do whatever feels good. (This program is about building structure that works with your brain, but structure is still the foundation.)
You want a self-paced course you can "do later". (This is live, with accountability, for good reasons.)
You're looking for a done-for-you service where someone builds systems for you. (This is done-with-you, not done-for-you.)
You only want to plan analog with paper and pen. (The templates work best digitally—if you're committed to paper-only, this might not be the right fit.)
How much time do you spend every day working on low-value things because you don't know what you’re supposed to be spending your time on?
Instead of picking up another tactic, learn how to know which things you realistically have the capacity to do this year. Instead of taking on one more shiny marketing idea, understand if marketing is really the problem right now.
Build the habits that make everything you do in your business better, more effective, and more powerful, so that you can:
Get more clients. Earn more revenue. And finally, feel confident that you know what you’re doing.
FAQs
-
Business Rhythms starts January 13th, 2026, and runs for 12 weeks. Live teaching sessions take place on Tuesdays at 1pm ET, and Friday Planning Calls are at 12pm ET. Can't make it live? No problem—all sessions are recorded and you'll have access to the replays.
-
You'll get access to all recordings, so you can watch asynchronously if the times don't work for you. That said, the Friday Planning and Bi-Weekly Implementation Calls are where the magic happens—that's where you'll practice the weekly rhythm in real-time with support. If you can make even some of the planning calls, you'll get more out of the program.
-
Business Rhythms teaches you how to run your business day to day (the systems, rhythms, and capacity management that keep you from drowning). Define Your Foundations is the strategic clarity piece that tackles what your business is and where it's going.
People often show up to the cohort knowing their client, knowing what they should be doing, but are too overwhelmed to engage with the strategic work. Business Rhythms solves the overwhelm first. You'll free up capacity and create space to think clearly, so when you get to the cohort, you're ready to do the deeper work instead of playing catch-up or struggling to find the time to execute what you’re learning.
(And yes—all Business Rhythms graduates get a discount on Define Your Foundations.)

The program is built around flexible systems and prescribed frameworks, not rigid schedules or one-size-fits-all approaches. That said, it does require structure—we're building supportive systems that work with different brains, not against them. If you completely resist any kind of structure, this might not be the right fit. But if you've been frustrated by productivity advice that doesn't account for how your brain actually works, you'll find this different. The program is built around flexible systems and prescribed frameworks, not rigid schedules or one-size-fits-all approaches. -
This isn't a "how to use technology" course. You’ll learn to think about systems and operations first, then apply those principles to whatever tools work for your brain. The frameworks are tool-agnostic on purpose—because the tool isn't the problem. Trying to force yourself into someone else's over-complicated system is the problem. I’ll help you choose the right level of system for each area of your business. Sometimes that's a simple spreadsheet. Sometimes it's Asana. But we're not building Notion databases that require a PhD to maintain.
(But also I’ve used just about every tool out there. If I can help you with the tech, I will). -
Plan for about 1 hour for the Tuesday teaching session, 1 hour for the Friday Planning Call, and 2-3 hours of implementation time throughout the week. The goal isn't to add more to your plate—it's to help you use your existing time more effectively. Most people find they save more time than they spend once the systems are in place.
-
Because we're not just teaching you what to do—we're implementing it with you, week by week, with built-in accountability. We start with what actually fits in your container right now, not some aspirational version of your business. We give you prescribed frameworks and checklists (less decision-making, more doing). And we acknowledge that consistency is hard, which is why the Friday Planning Calls exist. You're never doing this alone.
-
Life happens. The recordings are there for precisely this reason. Plus, the Circle community means you can ask questions and get support even between calls. The implementation weeks (2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12) are designed to give you catch-up time if needed.
That said, if you’re already in a bunch of programs during this time, this program might not be for you.
-
All Deeper Foundations Members get a 10% discount. Join early to get the program for just three monthly payments of $300.
I don't currently offer scholarships for this cohort, but if cost is a genuine barrier and you're committed to showing up and doing the work, email me and let's talk about what's possible.
-
There isn't one. This is a live cohort with capped enrollment for personal attention. If you have questions about whether this is the right fit, email me at jessica@deeperfoundations.com before you enroll. I'm happy to talk it through with you.
-
No, not yet. If you're still working on getting your first clients, you're better off watching my YouTube videos first and coming back to this program once you've got clients and need to manage the operations of delivering to them. This program assumes you have the basics in place and are ready to build sustainable systems.
-
If you're above $250K, you may need more sophisticated systems than we're teaching here. You'd be better served by a COO or 1:1 consulting, not a cohort program. That said, if you got to $250K without solid operational foundations and you're held together with duct tape and prayers, this could still be valuable.
-
The Circle community and live calls are where you'll get support and feedback. If you need more intensive 1:1 help, check out my Refine Your Foundations consulting service. But most people find the group support is exactly what they need—you're not alone in these struggles, and learning alongside others facing similar challenges is powerful.
-
You'll have all the recordings, templates, and frameworks to reference whenever you need them. You'll also have access to the Circle community. The goal is that by the end of 12 weeks, you've installed the planning rhythms and have working systems you can maintain on your own. This isn't a "pay forever to stay accountable" model—it's about giving you the foundation to run independently.
Without operating rhythms, nothing else in your business gets easier. Operations is the foundation everything else is built on, and Business Rhythms will show you how it’s done.
One year from now, you could be running your business with confidence, knowing exactly where your time goes, and consistently moving internal projects across the finish line because you know how to build and run sustainable business operations.
